HIPO (Comprehensive Thinking Skills) is a cross-platform application aimed at people with intellectual disabilities that enables their learning of mathematical skills through the use of Information Technologies.
It was developed by the Software Factory of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon based on the methodology created in TEDI.TEDI has worked for 5 years developing a methodology to facilitate the teaching-learning of functional mathematical skills to people with intellectual disabilities so that they develop skills that will allow them to solve everyday problems, participate responsibly in family and social dynamics, as well as being part of an inclusive educational or work environment.
